The Wisconsin Cranberry Cooperative was formed in 2001 by growers interested in preserving Wisconsin’s heritage of producing the finest cranberry crop based on the values of family farming. Cranberries are one of only three fruits native to North America, with commercial production of cranberries started in the 1860′s. Today Wisconsin is the leader of cranberry production in North America.
In this day and age of corporate farming, the members of the Wisconsin Cranberry Cooperative take great pride in producing the finest quality cranberries in North America, based on the care and cultivation by the individual family farm.
As stewards of the land, cooperative members take responsibility in protecting the environment by using (IPM) Integrated Pest Management practices to protect the ecosystem they call home.
The stated goal of the Wisconsin Cranberry Cooperative is to empower growers by directly marketing quality cranberries to meet the needs of our customers. The production of this high quality fruit is made possible with the dedication, care and experience of cooperative members that in some cases have been involved in growing cranberries on the same family farm for generations.
The Wisconsin Cranberry Cooperative is focused on providing our customers with the highest level of service available in the industry today.
